Union Square, Approaching Rush Hour

Because I owe you an extra video for being out of town on Halloween... Union Square, Manhattan, NY Monday, November 3, 2008, around 4:00 pm Ricky Grove, Ben Grussi and I were in New York that weekend for the Machinima Film Festival. On this Monday afternoon, we'd just come from The Strand bookstore a couple blocks up the street, and were preparing to hop on the subway over to Canal Street for what would end up being a really great dinner in Chinatown. Absolutely nothing of consequence happens in this video, it's just a slice of life capturing the hustle and bustle of this big city by this boy who doesn't spend much time in one. Video was caught with a cheap Pentax Optio A10 camera; audio captured using a Marantz PMD660 with built-in stereo mics (because I forgot to pack a cable for my good microphone)

Square World Films - GameFest 2011 - Previews and More

Matt and Chris both attended the first ever Game Fest in the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on the 16th September where we played a wide selection of new and exciting upcoming games. The convention was a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended. This is a video we put together demonstrating and previewing some of the games due for release in the next 6 months or so. In order: Rayman Origins, Binary Domain, Anarchy Reign, House Of The Dead Overkill, Dark Souls, Inversion and Sonic Generations. This is our first ever attempt at this kind of recording and editing and, as such, we ask you to approach it with this manner. We are aware there are flaws but it was a learning curve, one both of us have thoroughly enjoyed. This was shot on a Canon 7D and audio recorded separately using a Marantz PMD660 solid state recorder. We hope you enjoy our coverage as much as we enjoyed the day.
